DECISION OF THE BOARD; August 29, 2000
1This will confirm the Board’s direction made during a telephone conference with the parties on August 25, 2000.
2The hearing dates set for August 28, 29 and 30, 2000 in this matter are adjourned on consent of the parties.
3Having regard to the representations of the parties, the Board directs the intervenor, Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, to file with the Board (copied to the other parties) a written outline of its objection to the continuation of the hearing in this matter in view of the applicant’s death, together with any supporting legal authorities, by no later than September 29, 2000. Representatives of the applicant and the responding party are directed to file with the Board (copied to the other parties) a written outline of their response to the intervenor’s objection, together with any supporting legal authorities, by no later than October 31, 2000. The intervenor will then have until November 15, 2000 to file with the Board (copied to the other parties) a written outline of its reply.
4The Board will entertain oral argument on the intervenor’s objection at the outset of the hearing set for November 27, 2000.
