Decision
1The style of cause in Board File No. 3741-99-U is hereby amended to reflect the name provided by the responding party as: “Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada, Local 700M and the style of cause in Board File No. 0843-00-U is hereby amended to reflect the name provided by the responding party in that file as: “The National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians, Association of Film Craftsmen, Local 700, Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada”.
2These are applications under section 96 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 alleging that the responding party has violated sections 74 and 75. The responding party claims that the applications do not allege facts upon which the Board could find that it has violated the Act and asks tht the applications be dismissed without a consultation.
3After reviewing the materials filed the Board does not consider it appropriate to dismiss the applications without a consultation.
4The matters will therefore proceed to a consultation as scheduled on August 29, 2000.
