3038-99-HS Tower Light Ltd., Applicant v. Richard Bedour, Michael Gibson, Wayne Kentner, Trevor Koski, Anthony Mandaric, Wesley Staal, Dave Todish and Ministry of Labour, Responding Parties.
BEFORE: John Morgan Lewis, Vice-Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; February 24, 2000
The Board is in receipt of correspondence dated February 16, 2000, from the Ministry of Labour advising that the orders issued to Tower Lights Ltd. (“the applicant”) dated December 14, 1999 in Field Visit No. 940805 have been rescinded.
The Board notes that the applicant had identified a number of employees who may have an interest in these proceedings and who were added as responding parties. Having regard to the rescission of the orders in dispute, there would appear to be no basis in which to proceed with this application.
Should any of the employees named as responding parties have any objection to the Board terminating this application, they must deliver to the Board their written objection to the Registrar of the Board within ten (10) working days from the date of this decision. Should no written objection be delivered on or before that date, this application will be terminated by the Board.
