DECISION OF THE BOARD; September 15, 2000
1This is an employee appeal of a decision by an Employment Standards Officer not to issue an Order to Pay.
2A hearing into the matter was scheduled for September 8, 2000 at 9:30 a.m. A review of the file suggests that all parties were given notice of the hearing.
3The Board convened at 9:30 a.m. on September 8, 2000 but the applicant was not present. The Board then stood down for one half hour as its procedure when a party is not in attendance. At 10: a.m. the Board reconvened and the applicant was not present.
4Accordingly, the Board orally dismissed the applicant’s appeal. This decision confirms that decision.
