DECISION OF THE BOARD; January 26, 2000
1This is an employee application filed pursuant to section 68 of the Employment Standards Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.E.14, as amended, (the “Act”) requesting review of an employment standards officer’s decision .
2The applicant requests an extension to file this appeal. The applicant advised in its letter of January 18, 2000 that he suffered a heart attack. Attached to the applicant’s letter is a memo from Dr. C.W. Murphy of the Courtice Medical Clinic confirming the applicant’s illness.
3In the circumstances and in the exercise of the Board’s discretion pursuant to section 68(4) of the Act, I am prepared to extend the deadline for the filing of this application to December 9, 1999.
