DECISION OF THE BOARD; June 22, 2000
1This is an application brought pursuant to sections 69 and 1(4) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”). On the day scheduled for hearing the parties met with a Labour Relations Officer and entered into a Memorandum of Agreement which has been filed with the Board.
2Having regard to that Memorandum of Agreement we hereby:
a) declare that Guillot Builders Limited and Great North Restorations Ltd. carry on associated or related activities under common direction or control and, pursuant to section 1(4) of the Act, are one employer for purposes of that Act.
b) declare that Guillot Builders Limited and Great North Restorations Ltd. are bound to the Provincial ICI collective agreement between the Carpenters Employer Bargaining Agency and the Carpenters’ District Council of Ontario, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.
