This is a referral of a grievance in the construction industry to arbitration pursuant to section 133 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”).
By a letter dated August 18, 2000 the applicant has requested that the Board issue a pre-hearing production order. The Board declines to do so. The Board does not routinely issue pre-hearing production orders in construction industry grievance referrals and sees no particular reason to do so in this case. It is, as always, open to the applicant to summons the information it is seeking so that it may see it on the day of the hearing.
