DECISION OF THE BOARD; March 27, 2000
1The Board is in receipt of an intervention from Drywall, Acoustic Lathing and Insulation Local 675, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Local 675 is hereby added as an intervenor in this application. This intervention suggests that there are facts in this application which, in many ways, resemble those in Board File 3703-99-R (involving employees of Metal Tech Systems Inc.). In that file, the Board cancelled a scheduled vote in order to give the parties time to address the issues raised in the intervention by Local 675 in that case. It is appropriate to do so here as well.
2The vote scheduled for Tuesday, March 28, 2000 is hereby cancelled. The applicant and the responding party are directed to respond to the issues raised by the intervention by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2000. Any further response from the intervenor is to be filed by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2000.
