[1]. This is an application under section 68 of the Employment Standards Act , R.S.O. 1990, c.E.14, as amended, (the "Act") of a refusal to issue an order.
[2]. This application was scheduled for hearing before the Board at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2000. At that time, neither the applicant nor the responding employer or a representative of either appeared at the hearing. After waiting the normal thirty (30) minutes, the Board convened the hearing and dismissed the application in the circumstances.
