DECISION OF THE BOARD; March 1, 2000
1. This is an application for a declaration terminating bargaining rights.
2. In a decision dated February 24, 2000, the Board (differently constituted), directed the taking of a representation vote. However, by letter dated February 25, 2000, the responding party trade union has advised the Board that it does not want to represent the employees at Ventures Group Home in Gananoque.
3. Accordingly and pursuant to section 63(17) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 the Board hereby declares that the responding party trade union no longer represents the employees in the bargaining unit set out in paragraph 3 of the Board’s February 24, 2000 decision.
