DECISION OF THE BOARD; September 8, 2000
1This is a referral of grievance pursuant to section 133 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”). The parties have signed an agreement to adjourn the September 12, 2000 hearing scheduled in this matter in order to pursue settlement discussions.
2The parties have agreed and the Board directs the responding party to file its response and other necessary documents by the close of business on September 18, 2000. The applicant has agreed to extend the date for issuing a default decision in this matter until September 19, 2000.
3The applicant has agreed to advise the Board no later than September 15, 2000 if the parties were able to reach a settlement.
4Having regard to the agreement of the parties dated September 5, 2000 this matter is rescheduled for hearing on September 22, 2000, commencing at 9:30 a.m. in the "Board Room", 2nd Floor, 505 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.
