BEFORE: D. L. Gee, Vice-Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; February 7, 2000
1The Board is in receipt of a letter dated January 27, 2000 from counsel for Hamid Dadshany, Darshan Muhar and Elias Karam and a letter dated February 1, 2000 from counsel for Ontario Taxi Union. Having regard to such correspondence, the style of cause in Board File No. 3042-99-U is hereby amended to refer to the responding parties as “Blue Line Taxi Co. Limited, Hamid Dadshany, Darshan Muhar and Elias Karam”.
2These matters are presently listed for hearing together. They have not been consolidated. It is appropriate, given the issues in dispute for these matters to be listed together. The panel assigned to hear these matters will determine the manner in which they will be heard.
3In light of Ontario Taxi Union’s February 1, 2000 letter, the Board is of the view that it is not appropriate to deal with the request that Board File No. 3042-99-U be dismissed at this stage. The motion may be renewed before the panel assigned to hear the matter.
