DECISION OF THE BOARD; April 4, 2000
1This is an application under section 96 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”). The application was filed on June 24, 1999 and the response was filed on August 18, 1999. The matter was referred to a Labour Relations Officer to attempt to affect a resolution and he was directed to report his success in that regard to the Board by September 24, 1999. The Labour Relations Officer has advised the Board that he has tried repeatedly but unsuccessfully to ascertain from the applicant as to whether it wishes to proceed with this matter. The Board notes that there has been no correspondence in the file since the response was filed.
2The Board hereby directs the applicant to advise the Board by Wednesday, April 19, 2000 if it wishes to proceed with this matter. If the Board does not hear from the applicant by April 19, 2000 the file will be terminated.
