Ontario Labour Relations Board
File No.: 2528-99-ES Jill S. Hunter, Applicant v. Canadian Pool League Inc. and Ministry of Labour, Responding Parties.
Before: Inge M. Stamp, Vice-Chair.
Decision of the Board: January 25, 2000
DECISION
1On November 19, 1999 the applicant, Jill S. Hunter, sent an application for review of an Employment Standards Officer’s decision not to issue an order to pay against the employer. The application was sent by facsimile transmission.
2The Board assumed that the applicant was attempting to file an application for review pursuant to section 68 of the Employment Standards Act (the “Act”). It therefore sent Jill S. Hunter a letter dated November 23, 1999 indicating that the Board was unable to process the application as it had not been filed on the correct form and did not comply with the Board’s Rules of Procedure. The Board sent Jill S. Hunter a set of the appropriate forms and the pertinent rules, and directed that Jill S. Hunter had an additional 20 working days in which to file its application properly.
3To date the Board has received nothing further from Jill S. Hunter. As the 20 days have now passed, it would appear that the Jill S. Hunter does not wish to file an application for review in this matter.
DISPOSITION
4This matter is hereby terminated.
