DECISION OF THE BOARD; May 29, 2000
1This is an application under section 69 and subsection 1(4) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”).
2The Board is in receipt of correspondence dated May 26, 2000 from counsel for the applicant in which the Board is advised that the Notice to Employees of Application under Section 69 and/or Subsection 1(4) (Form B-18) has not been posted on the only job site at which the employees of the responding parties are working. The applicant requests that the Board authorize an agent of the Board to attend at the Grand Harbour Condominium project located at 2 Toronto Street in Barrie and post Form B-18.
3In the circumstances, the Board, pursuant to section 111(2)(g) and (h) of the Act, appoints a Labour Relations Officer to attend at the Grand Harbour Condominium project located at 2 Toronto Street in Barrie in order to post a copy of this decision along with Form B-18 at a conspicuous location so as to ensure that they will come to the attention of the employees of the responding parties.
4Should any employee of the responding party wish to make submissions regarding this matter, they must submit their written submissions to the Registrar of the Board by no later than ten (10) working days from the date of posting.
