DECISION OF THE BOARD; August 17, 2000
Decision
1These files consist of an application for certification, an application seeking a related employer declaration, and a grievance filed pursuant to section 133 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”).
2By letter dated August 8, 2000, counsel for the Carpenters has requested that the application for certification (which had been adjourned sine die) be listed for hearing with the related employer application and the grievance. I note that the Universal Workers Union, Local 183 has already indicated that the matters are “intrinsically linked”.
3I hereby direct that all 3 applications be listed together for hearing. The panel hearing the matters can determine how they should proceed.
