1453-00-OH John Crane, Applicant v. Wackenhut Security (Canada), Responding Party.
BEFORE: Marilyn Silverman, Vice-Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; August 24, 2000
This is an application filed under section 50 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.0.1, as amended (the “Act”).
By letter dated August 22, 2000 counsel for the responding party requests an extension of time for filing of its response. The basis for the request is that the responding party has not been served with some of the material contained in the application; specifically a package of documents referred to in paragraph 6 of the application as “all information included in the package”.
The Board’s Rules of Procedure require parties to deliver copies of all filings to all other parties. If he has not already done so, the applicant is directed to effect that delivery to counsel for the responding party within 5 days of the date of this decision. The responding party shall then have 10 days from the date the material was delivered to counsel to file its response.
The period of time for filing the response is extended accordingly.
“Marilyn Silverman”
for the Board
