DECISION OF THE BOARD; February 1, 2000
The applicant, Jay Latvalla, filed an application for review pursuant to section 68 of the Employment Standards Act (the “Act”) requesting review of an Officer’s decision dated June 22, 1999 finding there was no violation of the Act and no monies were owed.
On January 4, 2000 the Registrar of the Board advised the applicant that the application for review had not been filed in a timely manner. The letter directs the applicant to advise the Board in writing as to why the appeal is timely or give reasons why the Board should grant an extension for filing this appeal.
As of the date of this decision the Board has received nothing further from Jay Latvalla. As the time for filing a response to the January 4, 2000 letter has passed it would appear that Jay Latvalla does not wish to file an application for review in this matter.
DISPOSITION
- This matter is hereby terminated.
