2In a letter dated September 1, 2000 counsel for the applicant requests that the Board issue “my client an interim certificate pursuant to Section 9(2) of the Act”
3In a letter dated September 5, 2000 counsel for the responding party opposes such request.
4Both parties make a number of submissions in support of their respective positions.
5On agreement of the parties a hearing has been scheduled for September 25 and 26, 2000 to consider the status/bargaining unit issues that remain in contention.
6In the circumstances, in that a hearing is scheduled to take place in a relatively short time, the Board considers that this issue should be left to the panel hearing the matter.
