DECISION OF THE BOARD; October 25, 2000
Decision
1This is an unfair labour practice complaint filed under section 96 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”) and an application to the Board to direct the settlement of a first collective agreement by arbitration.
2These matters are hereby scheduled to be heard together on November 6, 7, 8 and 9, 2000. The hearings will be held in the “Board Room” 2nd Floor, Ontario Labour Relations Board, 505 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, commencing at 9:30 a.m.
3By letter dated October 24, 2000 from counsel for one of the responding parties Mr. Robert MacKay (“Mr. MacKay”) in Board File Number 2050-00-U advised that he did not receive the application with attachments. The applicant is directed to forthwith provide a complete application to counsel for Mr. MacKay.
4Counsel for Mr. MacKay also requests that as a result of the delay in receiving the application he be provided with an extension of time for the filing of a response. Mr. MacKay shall have until November 1, 2000 to file his response in Board File No. 2050-00-U.
