File No.: 0204-00-ES Dr. Esti Friedmann, Applicant v. Ministry of Labour, Responding Party.
Employment Practices Branch File No. 40 010936
BEFORE: Gail Misra, Vice-Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; May 18, 2000
[1]. On April 18, 2000 the Board was advised that Dr. Friedmann wished to appeal Order to Pay No. 55507. As no formal application was filed at the time, the Board sent Dr. Friedmann a letter dated April 27, 2000 indicating that the appeal could not be processed unless it was made on the proper forms as required by the Board’s Rules of Procedure. A copy of the required form, along with a copy of the Board’s Rules of Procedure, were sent to Dr. Friedmann with the letter.
[2]. In its letter of April 27th the Board indicated that the application must be filed within 10 working days of the date of the letter, and that failure to do so may result in the termination of the application. The deadline for filing the application has now passed, and to date the Board has received nothing from Dr. Friedmann. In the circumstances this matter is hereby terminated.
