DECISION OF THE BOARD; November 28, 2000
Decision
These are two applications alleging that the responding parties should be declared a single employer for the purposes of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”), or that there has been a sale of business from one of the responding parties to another.
On the first day of hearing, the parties entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with respect to production of documents. They also agreed to consult one another before requesting new hearing dates.
Having regard to the agreement of the parties, these matters are adjourned sine die for a period not exceeding one year. Unless within that time either party requests that the Board proceed with these matters, they will be deemed terminated without any further notice to the parties.
This panel is not seized.
