DECISION OF THE BOARD; November 8, 2000
The Ontario Nurses’ Association (“ONA”) has filed submissions pursuant to the Board’s decisions of October 17, 2000 and October 31, 2000.
ONA seeks an order of the Board that a clarity note be included in the proposed paramedical bargaining unit description set out in the Board’s October 17, 2000 decision. The clarity note would state that where Case Managers or Professional Practice Leaders are Registered or Graduate Nurses, they fall within the ONA bargaining unit.
To the extent any of the parties in these applications wish to respond to the submissions of ONA, they must do so on or before November 17, 2000. Should ONA wish to reply to any filed responses, it is directed to do so on or before November 22, 2000.
Upon receipt of the submissions herein referred to and in respect of which I remain seized, the Board shall consider issuing a final decision in these matters, directing further submissions of the parties, or referring the remaining issues to a consultation.
