DECISION OF THE BOARD; January 13, 2000
This is an application under section 91 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, S.O. 1995, c. 1 as amended (the "Act") concerning a work assignment. The Board, counsel for the applicant and counsel for the Millwright Regional Council of Ontario and its Local 1916 were advised on the morning of the hearing that counsel for the Ironworkers District Council of Ontario and the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers, Local 736 (the “Ironworkers”) was unable to attend the hearing because he was ill. Counsel for the Ironworkers, by telephone contact with other counsel, sought their agreement to an adjournment of the scheduled hearing.
In the circumstances, the parties agreed to an adjournment of this matter. In consultation with the parties, the Board fixed February 10, 2000 as the date for the hearing of this matter. Therefore, on agreement of the parties, the hearing of this application is adjourned to February 10, 2000 at 9:30 a.m. at the Board’s hearing room at 505 University Ave., Toronto.
This panel of the Board is not seized with this matter.
