Background
1On February 23, the Registrar, Travel Industry Act (the “Registrar”) issued a Notice of Proposal to Revoke the Appellant’s Registration ( “NOP”) of Flyswatt Inc. (the “Appellant”). On March 7, 2026, the Appellant appealed the NOP. On March 12, 2026, the Registrar issued an Immediate Temporary Suspension Order (“ITSO”).
2The hearing commenced on March 27, 2026 to consider whether to extend the time of the expiration of the ITSO until the conclusion of the hearing in relation to the appeal of the NOP.
3Liudmyla Shevchuk appeared on behalf of the Appellant.
The ITSO
4At the hearing, Ms. Shevchuk advised that the Appellant consents to the extension of the ITSO until the conclusion of the hearing. Accordingly, on consent, the ITSO is extended until the hearing is concluded.
The NOP
5At the hearing, Ms. Shevchuk advised that the Appellant is withdrawing the Notice of Appeal to the NOP.
6As the Appellant has withdrawn the Notice of Appeal, the Tribunals file shall be closed.
THE TRIBUNAL ORDERS
7Pursuant to s. 12(3) of the Act, the expiration of the Immediate Temporary Suspension Order is extended until the hearing of the Notice of Proposal is concluded.
8As the Appellant has withdrawn the Notice of Appeal to the Notice of Proposal, the Tribunals file is now closed.
