BACKGROUND AND OVERVIEW

115664586 Canada Inc., (the “appellant”), appeals the impoundment of their 2015 Ford Fusion (the “vehicle”) under section 50.2 of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, C. H.8 (the “Act”).

2The vehicle was impounded on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

3Manoj Kumar Chourey is the sole owner and director of 15664586 Canada Inc.

4The appellant applied to the Licence Appeal Tribunal to resolve the dispute on the grounds that the vehicle was stolen at the time of impoundment.

5The parties participated in a Hearing and before evidence was heard, they discussed other options to resolve the issue as the vehicle was being rented out at the time of impound.

6The appellant withdrew the application.
