OVERVIEW
1The appellant appeals the medical suspension of his driver’s licence, which was suspended by the respondent on October 24, 2015 following a report of alcohol dependence.
ISSUE
2The issue in this matter is:
a. Is the appellant alcohol dependent;
b. If the answer is yes, is that dependency likely to interfere with the appellant’s ability to operate a motor vehicle on highway safely.
RESULT
3During the hearing, the respondent confirmed that the medical suspension has been cancelled.
4As such, the appellant confirmed that he no longer wants to proceed to a hearing.
5This matter has been settled and the file will be closed.
