OVERVIEW
1The applicant was injured in an automobile accident on January 23, 2015 and sought benefits pursuant to the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule - Effective September 1, 2010 (''Schedule'').
2The applicant submitted an application to the Licence Appeal Tribunal – Automobile Accident Benefit Service (“Tribunal”). This is an Application in respect of the amount of statutory accident benefits to which an insured person is entitled.
ISSUES TO BE DECIDED
3The following are the issues to be decided:
a) Is the Applicant entitled to receive a rehabilitation benefit in the amount of
$2,765.00 for other goods and services, recommended by Mississauga Active
Physio, denied by the Respondent on March 9, 2016?
b) Is the Applicant entitled to receive a rehabilitation benefit in the amount of
$1,484.24 for other goods and services, recommended by Amitaben Daxini,
denied by the Respondent on January 20, 2016?
c) Is the Applicant entitled to receive a rehabilitation benefit in the amount of
$2,200.00 for other goods and services, recommended by Dynamic Health and
Sports Injury Clinic, denied by the Respondent on June 9, 2015?
d) Is the Applicant entitled to interest on any overdue payment of benefits?
RESULT
4After the commencement of the hearing, the parties engaged in settlement discussions regarding the issues in dispute. The parties advised that they had settled all the issues in dispute before the Tribunal. Accordingly, the Tribunal file will be closed.
