ORDER
A second pre-hearing was held in this matter on November 18, 2013 before this Tribunal in the presence of Jerry Levitan, Counsel, representing the Applicant as well as Maria D’Oliveira, the principal of the Applicant, Tamara Brooks, Counsel, representing the Registrar of Alcohol and Gaming (the “Registrar”). Also in attendance were ZM and GP, objectors to this liquor licence application.
Subsequent to the first pre-hearing in this matter, Mr. Levitan circulated conditions to Ms. Brooks and to the objectors, to which his client would consent as conditions on the licence, in response to the public interest concerns articulated by ZM and GP. Those conditions were reviewed at the pre-hearing. As a result of those discussions, the parties, and ZM and GP, agreed to a list of conditions to attach to the liquor licence. On the basis of this agreement, ZM and GP withdrew their objection to this liquor licence application, thereby dispensing with a requirement for a hearing in this matter.
Therefore, there being no other public interest objectors to this application, and having reviewed the consent conditions, filed, the Tribunal makes the following Order:
- The Tribunal hereby approves the application for liquor licence made by Sweet Estoril Bakery and Pastry Inc. operating or intending to operate as Sweet Estoril Bakery and Pastry at 2507 Dufferin Street, Toronto, subject to the conditions as contained within Schedule “A” to this Order (incorporated into and made part of this Order) which shall attach to the licence, and subject to the filing of all usual and required municipal clearance letters and application requirements.
