ORDER
This is an appeal to the Licence Appeal Tribunal by Peter Bilyj o/a Classic Auto Repair (the “Applicant”) respecting a Notice of Proposal by the Director of Vehicle Inspection Standard to:
a) revoke the Motor Vehicle Inspection Station Licence number 41-46638 in the name of Peter Bilyj o/a Classic Auto Repair; and
b) revoke the registration of Peter Bilyj as a Motor Vehicle Inspection Mechanic.
The hearing of this matter was scheduled to commence at 9:30 a.m. The Applicant failed to appear in person. He was contacted by the Tribunal, by telephone, and, on consent of the parties, arrangements were made for him to attend by way of teleconference as he was unable to attend in person.
At the commencement of the proceeding, the Applicant stated he wished to withdraw his appeal. He confirmed for the record that he understood that this would result in the revocation of his registration as a Motor Vehicle Inspection Mechanic and the revocation of his Motor Vehicle Inspection Station Licence, number 41-46638, effective immediately.
The Tribunal accepted the Applicant’s withdrawal of his appeal. Therefore, this matter before the Tribunal is hereby concluded.
