Decision:
The Panel grants the request for a stay, on consent.
WHEREAS Pietro Moran (“MORAN”) is licensed with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (“Commission”) as a Jockey, Licence Number JKY1547683;
AND WHEREAS on May 12, 2026, Commission Officials issued Thoroughbred Ruling 3699979 to MORAN for causing interference to PRIME EDGE by failing to keep a straight course while riding his horse, “WILLFUL WARRIOR” in Race 6 at Woodbine Racetrack on May 3, 2026 and is suspended from riding from May 22 -24, 2026 in accordance with Rules 9.14.01, 9.14.02, 9.14.03, 11.09.01, 11.09.03, 11.09.05, 11.12, 11.14, and 16.13(c) of the Thoroughbred Rules;
AND WHEREAS on May 19, 2026, MORAN filed a Notice of Appeal and a Notice of Motion requesting a stay with the Panel, to which the Registrar consented;
TAKE NOTICE that the Panel granted the motion for a stay, on consent;
