Decision
1These two grievances involve allegations of harassment, discrimination, unfair exercise of management rights, health and safety violations, and unfair discipline.
2The grievances were scheduled for hearing on February 5, 2025; however, the parties engaged in case management discussions and require direction. With the parties’ agreement, I provide the following case management directions:
a. On or before May 30, 2025, the Union shall provide full particulars in support of the grievances, the Union’s productions, and the Union’s request for productions.
b. On or before July 4, 2025, the Employer shall respond to the Union’s production request with the Employer’s productions or any stated objection to producing requested documents. Further, the Employer shall advise of any preliminary issues it intends to raise, including any issues regarding the scope and timeliness of the grievances.
3If any issues arise with particulars, productions, or any other preliminary matter, the parties may request a pre-hearing case conference.
