SUBMISSIONS

Decision
(1) This is a Motion for Dismissal of the subject Grievance.
(2) The Grievance Settlement Board released a Decision in this matter on November 9, 2023. There, the Grievor, Ms. Sherri Groves, was directed to provide Mr. Dan Hales for the Union with the reason for her non-attendance at the hearing held on November 8, 2023.
(3) That Order was to be complied with by December 8, 2023 failing which “the matter may be dismissed with no further notice to the Grievor”.
(4) Mr. Hales confirmed on behalf of the Union that the Grievor had been duly provided with a copy of the November 8^th^ Decision in a timely manner. Further, he advised that neither he nor the Union had received any response whatsoever from the Grievor.
(5) Mr. O’Reilly, Counsel for the Employer, confirmed the same on his own behalf and that of his client. In the circumstances, he moved that the matter be dismissed.
(6) There being no objection from the Union, I hereby dismiss the Grievance of Ms. Sherri Groves which is referenced as GSB #2022-7829 and Union # 2022-0377-0015.
