Decision

1This matter proceeded as a mediation/arbitration, pursuant to s. 22.16 of the Collective Agreement. The parties were unable to resolve the grievance and asked me to issue a decision regarding the imposition of a three-day suspension for alleged misconduct that violated the LCBO Respectful Workplace Policy.

2I have considered the evidence and submissions of the parties and determined that discipline was warranted and a three-day suspension was appropriate in all the circumstances of this case. I am also satisfied that the investigation was adequate and that proper procedures were followed leading up to the imposition of discipline.

3This grievance is therefore dismissed.
