INTERIM DECISION

1The Grievance of Ms. Alecia Dookhan, a Client Service Representative with the Ministry of the Attorney General was before me at proceedings on November 29, 2021.

2The Grievance, although yet to be fully particularized, relates to allegations of harassment and bullying, amongst other things in the workplace.

3Having heard some preliminary information from both Counsel, I was satisfied that there has yet to be a proper crystallization of issues to be determined.

4In the circumstances, after discussions with Counsel, I have determined it appropriate to issue the following Order:

April 1, 2022 – At or before that date, the Union will provide to the Employer:

a. A statement of the particulars of the allegations and claims;

b. A list of any productions sought from the Employer;

c. Any productions it seeks to rely upon;

d. The nature of any remedies sought

April 29, 2022 – At or before that date, the Employer will provide to the Union:

a. A reply to the particulars;

b. The productions sought by the Union if not challenged;

c. Any challenges to the productions sought;

d. Any productions it seeks to rely upon;

e. Any Preliminary objections, issues or motions it seeks to pursue and the nature of those matters;

5Those exchanges shall take place within the time frames described above.

6In the meantime, arrangements will be made through the GSB Registrar to schedule a continuation of this matter as near as practicable to the middle of 2022.
