July 23, 2020 (via video conference)

Decision

1At the hearing on July 23, 2020, there was an unsuccessful attempt to mediate the dispute. I decided that opening statements would not be useful because there were factual issues that had to be clarified and the employer had yet to provide full production of arguably relevant documentation.

2After discussion, it was decided that there would be a video conference held on October 2, 2020 to deal with pre-hearing motions in advance of the hearing scheduled for December 2, 2020. The parties will receive confirmation of the October 2 hearing from the GSB.

3In addition, I hereby order that the employer is to provide full disclosure of all arguably relevant material to the union by no later than September 4, 2020.
