DECISION

1The parties agreed to an expedited process under Article 22.16 of the collective agreement and the issuance of a brief, non-precedential award.

2This grievance concerns the repayment of an overpayment issued to the Grievor in error on December 31, 2015. The parties disputed what amount was owed, as well as whether or not there exists a previous binding settlement between them resolving that question.

3Having heard and considered the submissions of the parties, I hereby declare that the entire amount owed by the Grievor to the Employer for the aforementioned overpayment is $4,779.02. This finally decides the amount of this debt.

4I will remain seized in the event that any further issues arise from the issuance of this decision.
