HEARING

DECISION
1This is a group grievance consisting of nine grievors. Only two of the grievors attended the hearing, although all of them received proper notice.
2In the course of the hearing, the two grievors who attended the hearing withdrew from involvement in the grievance, in other words they withdrew from the group.
3After consultation with the parties, I issued the following order:
The Union will consult with the remaining grievors from the group and ask each of them whether they want to continue with the grievance or withdraw.
For those grievors who intend to continue with the grievance they will be advised that their physical presence will be required at all future dates.
If a grievor does not indicate to the Union by November 30, 2017 that they intend to continue with this grievance, they will be deemed to have withdrawn the grievance.
The Union will advise the Employer and the GSB by December 10th, 2017 as to whether they intend to proceed with this case and who the ongoing grievors are.
Dated at Toronto, Ontario this 9th day of November 2017.
