Decision
1This matter has a long history. The parties signed Minutes of Settlement on October 14, 2014. Pursuant to the Minutes of Settlement the employer agreed to provide training in human rights/equity/diversity and workplace violence/harassment and bullying within twelve months of the execution of the Minutes.
2The employer concedes that it breached the Minutes of Settlement by failing to comply with the time lines provided for in the Minutes.
3The employer has made it clear that it takes issues such as human rights/equity/diversity and workplace violence/harassment and bullying very seriously and is committed to training employees on acceptable conduct in the workplace.
4In the event that there are any issues with regard to the interpretation of this decision I shall remain seized.
Dated at Toronto, Ontario this 13th day of June 2017.
