Decision
1In the Board’s recent decision regarding the merits of this dispute, the matter of damages was remitted to the parties to resolve. I remain seized and stated that in the event the parties were unable to agree, a short supplemental decision would be issued without reasons.
2I was reminded by counsel that this matter was heard in accordance with Article 22.16 and therefore this decision is without precedent or prejudice. After hearing from counsel regarding damages I order that the Employer pay the Union an amount of $3,000. The Union will determine how the monies should be dispersed.
3I remain seized.
Dated at Toronto, Ontario this 8th day of February 2016.
