Decision

1The parties agree that the issues in this matter are substantially similar to those being addressed by Vice Chair Herlich in the Charles et. al. matter and that this matter should be consolidated with that matter.

2Given the time that has passed since the grievance in this matter was filed, the employer is willing to give this matter priority in the scheduling of any mediation or hearing, subject to current arrangements before Vice Chair Herlich.

3Accordingly, I direct that this matter to be consolidated with the Charles et. al. matter before Vice Chair Herlich, on the understanding this matter will be given hearing and mediation priority, subject to Union agreement and current arrangements in that matter.
