Decision

1This is an order in respect of a Memorandum of Settlement executed by the parties on November 9, 2010.

2Paragraph 3 of the Memorandum of Settlement required the Employer to pay the Grievor a lump sum of $20, 000.00 as a retraining allowance.

3The parties requested that I interpret the intention of paragraph 3 of the Memorandum. I find that the parties intended that the Grievor would receive $20,000.00 without deductions whatsoever.

4I am seized with the application, interpretation and implementation of this order.
