Decision
Re GSB #2004-3099; 2004-3101; 2004-3595; 2006-0759; 2006-1854
In the implementation of Paragraph 9 (a) of the MOS of the above noted matters, the parties are directed as follows:
1On or before January 31, 2011, the Employer will provide the Union with a consolidated list of names of employees who worked at Mimico Correctional Centre from January 1, 1980 to April 1, 2005 compiled from the Book of Oaths and from the information maintained from the Transition Unit. The Employer will provide accompanying addresses to the list of names based on the available information from the Employer’s internal on-site records at Mimico and the OPS Global Address List (GAL).
2On or before February 28, 2011, the Union will provide the Employer with an updated list of names based on records in its possession and with the outstanding addresses from the records in its possession for as many of the names on the list as it can. The Employer will provide any additional address information that it has in the GAL and its on-site records at Mimico as may be needed.
3The parties will then meet locally by April 29, 2011 to review the lists to see if any other mutually agreed steps can be taken to improve the inclusivity and accuracy of the list. The parties then will execute and send out the letters as required in Paragraph 9 (a).
4The deadlines in this Order may be extended by mutual consent of the parties or by order of the Board.
5Vice-Chair Devins will remain seized to deal with any issues in the implementation and interpretation of this Order.
Dated at Toronto this 15th day of December 2010.
