1The grievor filed a grievance dated February 12, 2007 alleging various violations of the collective agreement.

2Proceedings in this matter commenced on October 20, 2008 and continued on March 3, 2009 and July 10, 2009. Hearing days were devoted to both mediation and formal arbitration.

3Having regard to the joint submission of the parties and the evidence I have heard thus far, I hereby direct the employer to pay the grievor the (net) sum of $5000.00 as full and final settlement of all of the claims hitherto asserted in the grievance.
