DECISION
1On April 22, 2010, a conference call as held, at which the Union requested an extension of time until May 17, 2010 to provide the particulars ordered in the Board’s decision of March 11, 2010.
2Counsel for the Union stated that the Union was diligently working on the particulars, but that, given the number of employees involved (in excess of 400), the task was time-consuming and difficult. The Employer opposed the request.
3As stated during the conference call, the Union’s request for the extension is granted. The Union provided valid reasons for its request. As noted in paragraph 3 of the Board’s March 11, 2010 decision, the original time frame provided a “relatively brief timeline for compliance.”
4The Union is to make its best efforts to complete the required particulars by May 17, 2010.
5The hearing in this matter will continue on June 2, 2010.
Dated at Toronto this 11th day of May 2010.
