HEARING

June 19, 2008.

Decision

This matter was scheduled again for mediation-arbitration on June 19, 2008. It had previously been scheduled on December 13, 2006, April 23, 2007 and February 14 and 15, 2008. Each date was adjourned.

On June 19, 2008 the grievor did not attend, although she had been given notice of the hearing date by letter from the union in March 2008. The union sought the employer’s consent to a further adjournment, which was denied.

Having heard the submissions of the parties, it is hereby ordered that this matter be scheduled, on a peremptory basis, to be heard on January 15, 2009.
