Decision

This is to confirm the results of my teleconference with Counsel for the Union and the Employer on Wednesday, January 16, 2008.

Having heard representations from each, I ordered and hereby confirm my Order as follows:

The hearing scheduled for Monday, January 21, 2008 is hereby adjourned pending what Counsel understand to be the imminent release of a Ruling or Decision from the Ontario Human Rights Commission.

The anticipated Ruling relates to a complaint filed there by the Grievor in this case which, in part, overlaps with the issue(s) in the matter before this Board. It is expected that the Commission’s Ruling will relate to a potential stay of proceedings there pending the disposition of the matters currently before this Board.

Aside from January 21^st^, the hearing will continue on dates previously scheduled including February 14, 2008.
