HEARING
March 20, 2007.
Interim Decision
This case involves a group of over 80 individual grievors seeking similar remedies. The first two grievors were scheduled for hearing and then withdrew their claims just prior to the commencement of the hearing. In order to provide for a more efficient process on a go forward basis, I am ordering the following process for the remaining grievors.
- The union will identify to the employer the next grievor who elects to proceed before the Board by April 30, 2007.
- If no grievor is identified by the union within this time frame, the remaining claims shall be deemed to be withdrawn.
- If a grievor is identified to proceed, the parties will schedule the matter before Vice-Chair Fisher.
Dated at Toronto this 23rd day of March 2007.
