HEARING
November 6, 2006.
Decision
At the commencement of the hearing, counsel for the union and counsel for the employer informed me of their agreement to adjourn this matter sine die. Noting Mr. Gordon has asked that another hearing date be set, union counsel argued a grievor lacks standing to advance such a request. Employer counsel concurred. In my respectful view, they are correct. Only the union and the employer have standing to schedule a hearing before this board. The matter will be scheduled for hearing if either of them so request.
Dated at Toronto on this 7th day of November 2006.
