HEARING
March 30, 2006.
Decision
On September 26, 2002 Mr. Stuart Knight grieved that “the employer has violated specifically, but not exclusively, article 2 and 9 of the collective agreement by failing to reimburse the grievor’s legal costs.” The parties referred this grievance to mediation/arbitration in accordance with article 22.16 of the collective agreement.
At the outset of the hearing, the parties agreed that I had the jurisdiction to deal with this matter and they asked that I issue a decision, without written reasons. Having carefully considered the submissions of the parties, as well as the jurisprudence of the board, I find that there is no merit to the grievance and it is therefore hereby dismissed.
